What the Wind Did Last Night

Post by SonjaMarie » Tue November 16th, 2010, 7:46 pm

I went out to walk Jasper and gasped when I saw what the wind storm did to our lawn furniture....

I can't get the umbrella to come down I think it got broken :(

That sucks. I was going to say "that blows" because that would be the worst possible pun, but decided against it. :D

I just got done watching the news reports. Funny, but driving in this morning I had no idea what happened overnight. Granted I slept through most of it, but still there wasn't any downed branches and stuff on the streets, nor any power outages.

Ok, just talked to Harm, when she got up the table was already further then where I found it, as was the umbrella, she moved it to where I saw them and the table was on it's side, which makes more sense then finding it upright.

We had that too--it was all over Washington and Oregon, probably Idaho too. At my husband's work, it pulled up concrete paving stones!

You are not alone on that side of the pond! Here in Cornwall we had very strong winds and buckets of rain overnight! I'm lucky living on higher ground but much of Cornwall is under water.

Is it the end of the World???

Yeah, but are you far enough north to avoid the LA smog?

It just turned nasty again and very very breezy.

Rest easy, Ken. I don't recall Cornwall being mentioned in the prophecies. ;)
