Leonardo DiCaprio to Play Serial Killer in 'Devil in the White City'

Post by SonjaMarie » Tue November 2nd, 2010, 1:43 am

Ooh if this is done right and not too creepy, I'm looking forward to it. I liked the book, Erik Larson is a Washingtonian. I just wish he'd write some more books! I'm not sure about Leo D. playing H.H. Holmes, considered America's first serial killer. The White City refers to Chicago and the time it takes place is the 1893 World Fair.

Oh, I can see it. He's got the chops for it. I loved the book, too, very creepy. It would make a chilling film, if they adapt it right.

I very much enjoyed the book. I have a soft spot for Fredrick Law Olmsted, having lived within two blocks of Central Park in Manhattan for 16 years and two blocks of Prospect Park in Brooklyn for the past 6 years. I can see Leonardo as the killer. He's got a wonderful range!
