My hubby and I saw The Social Network last night about the founders of Facebook. A fun interesting movie written by Aaron Sorkin of The West Wing fame. It made me want to learn what was truth and what was fiction. Some of the answers are in this Slate.com article: "The Alternate Reality of Aaron Sorkin's The Social Network" by Luke O'Brien. The upshot of Mr. O'Brien's article: "The Social Network is also a lot of fun. Go buy a ticket. Just don't buy the story."

I don't Facebook, though I have an account (with 3 friends), the only reason I joined was because someone had stolen (hyperlinked) and image of mine and I wanted to see who, and I couldn't without joining.

However, I do want to see this movie.

I'm not on Facebook either. But the movie sounds interesting. I love Aaron Sorkin's writing.

"Let the Right One In" - Swedish vampire movie, it had great reviews when it came out, however although it had some memorable moments, overall I found it achingly slow and if it hadn't been sheer curiosity on my part I would probably have bailed out on it. The ending does stick in the mind though. There's an English language version on its way soon.

The Inheritance based on an early Louisa May Alcott novel. Wonderful. I absolutely adored Henry Hamilton.

Night of the Living Dead on DVD again. Zombies!
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die

Secretariat in the theater. Thanks Mom and Dad. Fantastic film. But then I love horses. And beautiful scenery.

Watched Robin Hood the other night. Was thinking it was not too bad until the battle scene at the end.......
Thought that maybe there could of been more of the Merry Men, but then I have seen the first part of the BBC series, and those Merry Men are great. Anyway I think that with Russell Crowe as RH it would have been a bit hard to get to humerous with all that seriousness.

I am also finishing watching the series of Brideshead Revisited. One of the most loyal to the book things I have ever seen!
