That's not nice :(
My dh used to work for a large engineering company and was in charge of the fabrication department on the shop floor (hands on supervisory, not tucked away in an office). During hard times they had to make people redundant and it was always down to my dh to sort out who stayed and who went and to tell them. It was horrid for those who lost their jobs and dh was lucky to keep his, but deciding who stayed and who went was pretty vile too.

My child has just informed me that he MIGHT have left his Nintendo DS at his friends house (when he knows that he is not meant to take it there in the first place). He certainly doesn't know where it is. We have 18 hours of driving coming up this weekend, when we certainly could have used the entertainment provided by this game console! Grrr!

Kids.
