The Worst Thing Today
People are using the library as if its their personal toilet.
Hmm, maybe I should say this instead ...they want their stuff, they can take whatever they want, and they can abuse me however they feel.
This is going to be a lonnnnnggggggg year .

- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
- Location: California Bay Area

Oh, my, what a mess. I've been through several big shakers, and the cleanup is always a major hassle.
My sympathies to the tube-travelers.

Did your library get a favorable review on the toilet finder app?
There is a certain floor in our office building where people often complain about the toilets. We joke about one day finding it unfavorably reviewed.
I've heard about this on the news. Almost your entire evening wasted. Yuck. Were you able to get any good reading done (trying to look on the positive ).
There is a plus side to everything. The long journey allowed me to finish DD's Game of Kings which I have taken a while reading largely because I do a lot of reading in bed and unfortunately have been falling asleep almost as soon as I get there. However, it was a jolly good read and now I am onto the next.

Sorry about everyone's yucky day yesterday. I hope today was much, much better!
