Finished Tyrant: Storm of Arrows by Christian Cameron even better than the first book. And my brain is still in that book so Godiva by Nerys Jones so far is only doing k for me.

Reading "Hawaii" by James Michener. The guy is a genius. seriously. I highly recommend folks read his "The Source" as well.

I'm re-reading Tony Riches "Wounds of Honour" and then moving onto "Arrows of Fury." I've also ordered Ben Kane's latest "Road to Rome."

It says something that I'm up to p.200 already. It reads very quickly. But it's still hard to hold upright when you're reading in bed.

Everytime I go cleaning up some old stored PB's that one keeps glaring at me. One of these days...
At home with a good book and the cat...

I liked Hawaii... read it last year before we took a trip there.

Started Alan Furst's Night Soldiers this morning. Also have Henryk Sienkiewicz's The Knights of the Cross on the PC... thought I might try squeezing in a few chapters each day. I read a Fantasy novel recently where the Northern Crusades were in the background, and thought Sienkiewicz's book might make interesting supplementary reading material.

Just finished The Lightning Thief - very Harry Potteresque, but fun. Will be starting Gilgamesh and Roma next.

The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
- "Into Battle"
