The last film I watched was City Slickers, which I love
And the last film I saw at the cinema was Inception - it's so fantastic! I was gripped the entire time. Quite long though ...

What Movies Have You Seen Lately?
Saw an old Cary Grant movie called None But the Lonely Heart with Ethel Barrymore and a very young Jane Wyatt, written and directed by Clifford Odetts. Very talky, very stagy, "literary", but I enjoyed it. I thought I had seen all the Cary Grant movies, so was surprised when this one showed up on TCM. BTW, why are there not a lot of little girls running around named "Ethel"?

Having a Tudor / Stuart week. Started off with 'Henry VIII' with Ray Winston, then 'Lady Jane' with Helena Bonham Carter, next 'Elizabeth I' with Helen Mirren. The others that will follow are: 'Gunpowder, Treason & Plot', 'The Devils Whore' and finally 'Charles II: The Power and the Passion'.

I finished watching Sense and Sensibility last night - the one with Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman and Hugh Laurie. Thought Alan Rickman was very good (bit different from some of hte other roles I have seen him in), Hugh Laurie seemed to steal just about every scene he was in even though his part was fairly small.

Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
