I too love my Kindle because I can up the font. But the large print in the 'large print' books is still a bit too large for me. I'm sure the day is coming, however . . .

Someone raised large print books as a discussion thread on a library listserv that I subscribe. I can't remember the details; there was had something about availability for purchase.

At my library branch, large print books didn't go out so much.

I've only once read a large print book - a French novel that wasn't available in normal sized print at the time.

I think fonts in general are getting larger, though.

I've found that libraries often have copies of older titles which aren't available in ordinary print, in LP editions, which is handy. The print seems a bit strange at first, but you soon adapt, and actually when your eyes are tired at night it's really good.
