Lady Audley's Secret by Mary Braddon. The foreward says that it was originally published as a serial, so I'm expecting lots of Victorian melodrama. Which will be a fun change of pace!
That was adapted for PBS's "Mystery!" series. (Diana Rigg was host at the time) It was interesting...

Currently... Dracula by Bram Stoker
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

The Personal History of Rachel DuPree by Ann Weisgarber. Probably the most poignant historical fiction I've ever read.
I've finished "The Confessions of Catherine de Medici" by C.W. Gortner (397pgs, 2010). Another great book by Gortner, very compelling!
Getting started on Steven Saylor's time-sweep, Empire, the sequel to Roma.
Margaret, can you tell me if you're reading an ARC or finished advance copy? Did SMP send it to you? Saylor's publicist at SMP offered this to me for review and I've been eagerly waiting for my copy to arrive; they told me it would be here by mid-August at the latest. I'm also going to be reviewing it for HNS, with a 9/15 deadline, so I'm starting to fret, as I turned down their ARC to read the finished copy.
