Hello from Georgia, USA

Post by MLS859 » Wed August 27th, 2008, 7:29 pm

Hi, my name is Lynn and I've found my way here by way of Susan H...I love historical novels (favorite time period -- Richard III/Medieval era, followed by the American Revolutionary period). I may not get a chance to post much but I'll be reading!

Hi and welcome from the next state over. I'm about 20 miles north of Greenville, but a transplant from the Lowcountry. Howdy neighbor ;)

Your nick seems extremely familiarly to me, do I know you from some where else on the net in the last few years?

Were you a fan of Gabriel Byrne's a few years ago and may have been on some mailing lists with me?

Wow indeed! I've been with this forum (in it's old place since 2006). I haven't "seen" you for a few years! It's nice to see you again and this is a great forum and group of people!

I read all kinds of historical blogs/forums but only post here and there -- my interest in Richard III just "happened" a couple of years ago -- so I'm still catching up! I'm glad you "recognized" me -- once you said that, I remembered you -- and your Lady Jane Grey site!! I'll make sure to check it out -- and I'll add you to my list on my blog!

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area
