Your blogs are fascinating, and I hope you enjoyed your trip overall despite the fiasco on the flight home. Surely they should have bumped that awful couple off the flight rather than you, partly because they were awful but also because you were already settled in your seat. Still, Mr Moishe sounds wonderful, was he an airline or airport employee? Airports can be hell for anyone, although unfortunately the armed guards are pretty much a fact of life now.

Mr. Moishe was an airline employee. And yes, meeting him was quite a surprise for me. Bless him for all of the care that he took with me, and his kindness.

Wow, Tely, what a trip! I liked the Israel stuff the best, and I'm so disappointed you didn't get to make it to Pompeii but I understand about not wanting to go out in the rain!

Damn that woman was a major bitca! Your experience kinda reminded me of the "horrors" I went through with Customs when I first went to the UK.
