My Dad (who lives up in Atlanta) got very sick on Friday and was admitted to intensive care unit of hospital for what looked like pneumonia and some underlying heart problem. But it was NOT pneumonia (yay), and his heart catheterization this morning turned up NO blockage whatsoever in his heart (yaaaaay!!). He has to take some different medications to get a few things under control, and go on a diet and exercise regime -- but he went home today and will be able to manage everything just fine with my Mom's help.

This was the best news I've had in a long long time.

I am enjoying (a) the departure of my migraine and (b) the Renaissance music on Tanzanite's website, which I have playing on a constant loop as I try to focus on my work... :D

Great news about you dad, Sheramy.
Cool your migraine's gone too, Chatterbox.

Not ten minutes ago, I finally pressed 'send' on the email containing the ms of my third book. Now I wait in trepidation for my editor to get back to me... (which might be the worst thing each day for the next 5-7 days :D ). Shortly the beer will begin flowing in this part of the UK...

My baby is sleeping through the night! Only a month and a half old, too--I'm incredibly grateful! :)
