...and tonight I picked up a used copy of Vanessa Alexander's The Love Knot on Amazon UK. Sick, aren't I?

Oh, I'm sick! Bought a copy of The Nebuly Coat, by John Meade Falkner, today on Amazon. Edwardian murder mystery.

Kasthu, I really enjoyed The Nebuly Coat. If you like it I recommend Dorothy L Sayers' The Nine Tailors, which is set in the same area and partly inspired by it.

I'd heard that; I read The Nine Tailors last year and liked it a lot. I've also heard that The Nebuly Coat partially inspired Charles Palliser's works, too. So I'm looking forward to reading it.

I absolutely love the Sands of Gold cover. When you get it could you please post who is the author of the cover? Out of curiosity.[/quote]

Took me a bit to find this. I have the book but I can't find any source for the cover art. Sorry. At least I can get the cover up on Goodreads now :p

I keep telling myself that too - and then ask myself, "why?" They are still cheaper than shoes! :) And they look so nice on my bookcases...
