The other night I watched a gem...."Murder by Degree" 1978 Christopher Plummer as Holmes and James Mason as Watson and a very plump David Eddings, Anthony Quayle, and cameos by John Gielgud and Donald Sutherland.....Watson,"The game is afoot".....

My sis was reviewing the Broadway touring company performance of Legally Blonde last night, and I got to be her companion. I wasn't expecting much, but hey, it was free. Very very fluffy; I'd suggest people stick with the movie (to be fair, we are not the target audience here; the targeted audience was dressed up in pink and having an absolute wonderful time as only preteens and teens could have)

Phillipa Gregory
Caught the end of Henry V on tv last evening. Branaugh and Thompson are outstanding. Tho as I watched it, I remembered how sad it was that he (the king) didn't last long.
Question - need a good non fiction book on War of the Roses. That whole time period from Henry V to Henry VII is rather a blur for me.
I just heard that Phillipa Gregory is coming out with a novel dealing with the individuals who were involved with the War of the Roses.
