Interest in HF: The first historical novel I read was Katherine by Anya Seton and this sparked off my interest in this genre.
Favourite HF book: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!

In the 19thC - either with Sir John and Lady Jane Franklin in Van Diemen's Land, Tasmania, or with Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins in London.

I'm in WWII Malaya trying to survive life as POW with the assistance of a Very Good-Looking Australian who is currently off stealing chickens for me...
