Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

Caring hands sells them here. I have found this design the best of all the various ones I've used backpacking, and it comes with a tube and container for use in small planes. (Did I mention the dh is a private pilot? and I hate takeoffs and landings, and haven't much bladder capacity. So this little thingy was a kidney-saver.)
Somehow, it even gets the fluid to run uphill!

Wal-mart happy face stickers which my kids didn't like, so they gave them to me to stuff them in my purse. Ant-itch cortisone cream for my daughters eczema. Does a toothbrush and toothpaste count? Don't go anywhere without them!

My husband likes to put random things from our house in my purse, so the strangest thing in there right now is a fake apple. Strange man, but I love him!

Wow, I do NOT win this contest - dropped yamulkes and urine funnels are out of my league. :p

Right now, I would say dried liver snaps for dogs, or a picture of me on my birthday last year - I'm a bit tipsy on margaritas and wearing a large sombrero as I'm serenaded by restaurant employees. I don't want to throw it out, yet it doesn't seem important enough to put somewhere to keep.

I used to have a wallet-size high school graduation diploma. It listed my entire graduating class on the back side, and was provided with compliments of the local funeral home. Very strange. It was lost when my wallet was stolen a few years back, but I have not been called upon to prove that I graduated from high school on a moment's notice!

My mother would say the strangest thing to find in my wallet is money :D because I'm such a tightwad and there never is any.

At least one book, my wallet, my checkbook, McDonalds happy meal toy (or two), my work badge (so weirdo's don't get in), nine ink pens of which maybe three actually have any ink, extra set of car keys (I always lose/forget mine somewhere),10-12 reciepts, last weeks list for Walmart, and at the very bottom most likely you'll find five dollars in small change that I always forget to use or am too lazy to dump my purse and sort.
