Forthcoming Books: 2009 edition
I've really been enjoying this series and think it is his best work to date. However I thought the last book was perhaps a bit too slight and didn't have the depth or scope for a full novel. And it really felt episodic to me.
And so I'm a bit surprised that he seems to be jumping forward quite a bit in chronology as the latest gave me a sense he was going to devote a novel to each small but adventurous event in Alfred's life.
I guess I'm saying I'm sticking out for an arc of the US release.

This is nonfiction, correct? Looks interesting. Anything besides Anne/Henry interest me these days.
I dunno why, but I'm becoming an Anne fan.
Has this one been mentioned? Rebecca Stott has a new one coming out in September, called The Coral Thief. No idea what it's about, but the S & G website says that it's historical.
I loathed Ghostwalk - what a disappointment - so will probably give this one a miss. She's one author who really hammers home all her research!
