"Rear Window" (original), 1 of only 3 of Hitchcock's movies I've seen.
Ken, I have the TV remake of that on order with Lovefilm, starring Martin Clunes - 2002. I'm looking forward to watching it.
Hi EC!

I didn't know they had made a TV film remake. I'll also try to get hold of it - although I can't see Martin Clunes making a better Mr Chipping than Peter O'Toole!

Mind you, in 1969, they said the same thing about O'Toole comparing him unfavourably with Robert Donat in the first (1930's??) film!

I know they changed the time for the setting but I still really liked Twelfth Night. Incredible cast: Imogen Stubbs; Helena Bonham-Carter; Ben Kingsley; Nigel Hawthorne; Imelda Staunton, Richard E. Grant. Wonderful.

Terminator: Salvation - which I mostly enjoyed, but I do find Christian Bale's gravelly whisper quite annoying. Really liked the other male lead Sam Worthington, though, and did like the various nods to the other movies.

Goya's Ghost, set in Spain in the late 1700-early 1800's. very good film with great actors and actress, Natalie Portman, and the two men I cannot remember to save my life at the moment, Javaier something from the movie No Country For Old Men is one of them.

"Star Trek" and it rocked! I need to see it again on DVD so I can read the CC's, cause with my hearing I couldn't understand some of the dialouge.

I really want to see it but I imagine it will have to wait till it comes out on dvd. I heard it stayed true to the original?

Um, no. It takes the series, turns it on its head, and brings us to a whole new world! This was an incredible presequel, and I can't wait to see what they do with it now!
