Christine de Pisan may be an unnerving kind of hostess, but sitting in her workroom and reading through a manuscript about her life, I'm beginning to understand more about this formidable lady. Soon I will head out into the streets of Paris and discover more of the impact that years of civil strife has had on the city.
Recovering consciousness to find myself manacled and trapped in a tiny dank cell in the bowels of the Tower of London.
The cell is known as Little Ease for obvious reasons and I am having a panic attack because everything hurts and I can't remember anything, not even my name, and have no idea how I got here.
