Lightening strikes Space Needle

Crap, I almost forgot about this and thanks for my friend at another board who reminded me. Courtesy of KOMO TV (and do go to the link as they have a video as well), here's a lightning bolt struck the Space Needle Tuesday night. Glad I wasn't up in the observatory or the restaurant that night...

Very impressive! It would have been not that noticeable inside, I think, as most of the energy would have been diverted around the building, and probably the power got cut. In NYC, the Empire State Building gets hit all the time.
