That's terrific, I hope you like it. I didn't even know about Booksfree but I just checked it out briefly. What a cool idea.
Yeah, I've been a member for almost 6 years now. It's like Netflix but for paperbacks.
Best thing today: I didn't lose my day-job, though bad news is 1,000 other people in the department did.

Also, Last Queen paperback went into a second printing; my editor wrote to tell me and said sales were good. Yes! :p
Pleased to hear your job is still safe...

And congrats on the second printing. By the way, we have chosen The Last Queen for our book group read in August. Our June read is The Suspicions of Mr Whicher.

Even though it's been cancelled by NBC, "Medium" has been picked up by CBS, whoo!

Oh, wow. That's great. Thanks so much for letting me know, and for choosing the book. I'm honored.

I'm always available for book group chats, so if your group wants to speak with me on speaker phone after they've read it, just let me know via PM.

And that little elephant is just too cute, Carine!

Got a book in the mail today. (Vanora Bennett's latest.)

Had a breakthrough writing chapter six of NF opus.

My agent loves the idea I suddenly had for the next NF book (still not history!) and thinks he might get an auction going for it.

Got a check for a freelance writing assignment.

The sun is shining.

I must be overlooking something... It can't be this good, really...

Wow, I bet that was a best thing for the mom, too -- imagine being pregnant for TWO YEARS!
Wow, congratulations! Do you have your artwork on a site anywhere where we can see it? I love 'outsider' artists.
Not really. On Epinions.com/user-telynor the drawing there is mine, but I guess I can post some of my work here if anyone is interested.

And great news about the job, but it must be troublesome mentally to know that you've managed to hang onto yours, but so many other good people are suddenly at wit's end.
