Recently watched the Resident Evil movies and though I don't normally like movies with Zombies I loved them.
If you liked those, try Shaun of the Dead -- I loved watching it, and I hate zombie movies.

Monsters vs Aliens in 3D - Kids chose this one..

It was cute and had it's funny moments. My 6 year old thought it was hilarious. Good family fun! :)

Currently watching South Pacific: in Concert at Carnegie Hall starring Reba McEntire as Nellie Forbush. Other names involved as well. Didn't know Alec Baldwin could sing.

Brian Stokes Mitchell takes over every scene he's in. What a voice that man has! Amazing!

Through Netflix I'm re watching "Foyle's War"....Outstanding WWII mystery series....I love the Brits and their clever Detectives and Michael Kitchen as Foyle is one of the best.....plus is sidekicks Honeysuckle Weeks and Anthony Howell are are really interesting and add so much to the series.....

Wall-E which seems to be as wonderful as everybody says. I haven't seen all of it yet. The kids keep interrupting.

Next up is Becoming Jane.

I didnt like Becoming Jane

I saw the Duchess. And while I hate Knightly I tried to imagine it wasnt her. She still came off whiny though. The girl also needs to eat something. THere was a back shot of her and I was able to count every bone in her back.

She would look so much better with a few pints of Guinness to fill her out
I enjoyed `the Duchess` ,it was easy to watch

I watched Jim Carrey`s `Yes Man` which was a good return to comic form and Im glad to report it wasnt `Liar Liar` lite.

Next up is a `Stone of Destiny` with Robert Carlyle about the theft of the Stone of Scone from English authorities in the 1950`s.So many great British and Irish Films only get limited releases and there really are some truly great ones out there.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Watched Hidalgo. Viggo Mortensen was great in Lord of the Rings, but quite wooden in this. The star of the film was the horse.
