First day of school! Wooooooo-hoooooooo! If I had a happy dance, I'd be doing it. Amazing how quiet it gets with just half the kids out of the house.

Oh, and we close on the twelfth so I'll be moving after that.

A couple of good things today...firstly we are on the last stages of mums visa! Had a trip to Centerlink for her Assurance of Support paperwork, so it is not long now till her visa is granted!

Also...I am applying to TAFE (college) to do a.....wait for it.....Diploma/Cert IV in Librarian Services! I might need to do the Cert IV, then top it off with the Diploma after, depends on what they say! Fingers crossed for me please!
A good book and a good coffee, what more can anyone want? xx

Good luck Pat...with both the visa and with getting into the TAFE course.

Got a Bose Wave CD/radio stereo delivered today. Yep ... sounds better than the $50 Sony boombox. ;) Folks, the house is seriously rockin'!

And Pat, way to go on the Librarian Services career plan. Absolute best wishes and thoughts your way.

Went to my son's school concert tonight. Sometimes they can be pretty draining (other than the bit that your child is in obviously) but tonight's wasn't too bad.
