Suggestions for October 2008 Book of the Month

Post by diamondlil » Tue August 26th, 2008, 8:41 pm

Unfortunately I can't remember all of the books that were nominated for Book of the Month for October, so I will need to get some more nominations. I will leave this thread open until 30 August, and then we can vote early in September.

We will go back to the normal timetable after that.

LOL, Ash, you just cracked me up! :D

Are you thinking of The Gernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society?
Books to the ceiling,
Books to the sky,
My pile of books is a mile high.
How I love them! How I need them!
I'll have a long beard by the time I read them. --Arnold Lobel

Yep, it's definitely one of the more difficult titles to remember. And I still haven't found a recipe for potato peel pie!!!
