And those little book-neurons in your brain that have been shrieking "Feed me!" are now sated and happy, at least for the next 48 hours . . .
For the time being. Though I'd be a lot happier if there was a UPS truck grinding to a halt outside my door right now with a box from Amazon . . .
I hear ya! Zappo's is pure cyber crack, I'm telling you!! Although, you should see the brand new Cole Haan stilettos I picked up on ebay for $50! I'm still giddy over that one! :D
It's Ghost shoes and boots for me. I'm totally obsessed. As in, need medication! Of course, they're outrageously expensive so I have to wait for end-of-season sales when they're marked half-off at the trendy, overpriced shoe boutique near work - which I haunt.

Hah! I know that feeling. I got three packages this week at work, research books from Alibris, and a new novel from the UK. I was grinning all week . . .

earlier I said I was addicted to book shopping on amazon, well I'm starting to buy more and more from half.com and abebooks since they are so much cheaper and sometimes the cost of shipping is included or cheaper. With the economy so tight I'm buying less often but wanting to spend less, so now everyone is happy :)

With my coming significantly reduced post-tax season income expected after April 15th, and for probably the rest of this year, thus has ceased the weekly (sometimes daily) CD and book orders from Amazon the last few months. I seriously have just as much fiction addiction as the next HFO member!

I wonder what my rural postal carrier thinks now - very likely he/she is ecstatic about not having to carefully fit all those yellow mailer envelopes into my mailbox all the time.

And - I have to stay out the Rack Room and Shoe Carnival places because I always see another pair of Clarks shoes I want. Love those Clarks!
