Yikes! They're sort of strangely old-fashioned though aren't they in a bodice-ripping way!
Yesterday ordered from Amazon:

Cathedral of the Sea
Where Mermaids Sing (a Sebastian St Cyr mystery) by C S Harris
I really want to read Cathedral of the Sea, but it seems to be a bit hard to get hold of here!

You never know with these older books and those covers though, sometimes I've found quite a gem beneath all that cheesiness. Roberta Gellis being a prime example. I'm willing to take a gamble, besides erm wants to know who designed the one cover.

Teacher's Appreiciation Weekend at Borders (25% off!) this eve netted me many books for my students, plus Mistress of the Revolution by Catherine Delors. I left my list at home, so I probably will go back tomorrow.

Oh! I didn't know that. I didn't get a notice.

BTW I still have to mail out your book :( I suck.

For my b day I got The Victorian domestic servant, Pleasure Palace (or whatever that new Tudor book is with the blue girl on it) and also Victorian Ghost stories. Rockin! Its always nice to know when people can use my wishlist feature.

I just started it yesterday and enjoying it. Won't be a five star but I'm pleasantly surprised.

PS - be warned on keeping your wish list public. People can see one's full name and city, which is why mine is kept private.

Hee, so do I. The books I told you I had? My DH took them to be traded that morning :( But I'll have more. And there is no time limit on when I get the book. Heavens knows I have much more than my share to read right now anyway!

Are you a Borders Reward Member? I always get emails about them (but we also get fliers at school as well, so.....) Anyway, its all weekend, so go for it!

Talking about Amazon? Mine has my nickname, known only to friends and family.
