Maybe One Way To Retrieve Lost Posts

Post by SonjaMarie » Tue August 26th, 2008, 1:23 am

If you do this in the Google Search Box site:http://www.historicalfiction.org "Historical Fiction" (or whatever you were looking for) you might be able to find lost posts if you use cache.

That's a good idea. It'd be a shame to lose all that great info from the other site. Does anyone know what really happened or was it just that the other owner couldn't be found?

That didn't work for me. It showed me the link to the review I did, but when I clicked on the link, it got me nowhere. This is so wrong. All this hardwork everyone did and the idiots who own the site don't give a fig.

You have to wonder what they have planned for it all -- did they just want the web address?

No, worse! All of our thoughts and opinions are going to be compiled in a book the owners will have published entitled Dummies' Guide to Historical Fiction! We'll all be considered experts in the field and won't even get a penny in return. All that wonderful wealth of knowledge - paperbound in that hideous yellow color.

Occasionally websites are archived on the internet - which means even if deleted they may sstill be saved in "cyberspace" - worth a shot.

Mostly my review of Isolde: Queen of the Western Isles. It's the only one I don't have.
