Congrats, donroc, do you have a link to the review? I found the website but didn't see it posted yet.

I'm pleased because, as of 11pm last night, the proofs and indexes for my book are done and mailed off. Although the writing has been enjoyable, it's been a two-year process, and I'm really looking forward to having my life back!
I had to search for it too. It apparently was not proofed by the reviewer but at least the comments were good. Even my first and middle names were reversed -- but spelled correctly. I am pleased, nevertheless.

If you go to the site, type Rocamora in the search box or:

we sold the house in Kansas for relocation for my husbands job and now live in dare I say it....an apartment! in a huge town, I say city but I'm corrected constantly when I say Tulsa is a city. Luckily we both make good enough money that most of the time we pay cash for everything and our cars are late nineties and paid for, everytime we think of trading for a newer car we cringe at having a payment so I'ld say we're closer to debt free then most can say and I like that. We both grew up on large working farms so it's only natural we end up back at the begining. I imagine if we buy this place I might become a stranger here, we'll see.

Congratulations Docroc and Ariadne!

The best thing in my world right now is that after being stuck in chapter 3 for six months, I may have finally come up with a way to move from point D to point E in the story. And coming up with a prequel idea that may end up being better than the trilogy is.

Congratulations, Ariadne, Nona and Donroc! And good luck to you, Michelle--I hope the house sells quickly. But won't you miss the beautiful garden you mention in your author bio????

I'm happy because I've finally got some momentum going on Book 2, and had a recent chat with my agent who is incredibly supportive and still a champion of Book 1, despite our difficulties in finding a home for it.

Off to read Donroc's review...

Gosh!! Well done to all the above! My best thing seems so trivial after!

My best thing, we watched the final stage of the Tour DownUnder today, we were just up from the start/finish line on the hairpin bend. It was a fantastic race! The crowds were out in full force, and most of the time were really good! There was one woman who asked if we would mind her getting to the front barrier (we were 2nd row but the ladies infront let us move forward at there request), hubby replied politely that no, it would be the last lap and as we had been there since 11.00, and the ladies since 10.00. She said she had driven from Mildura to see this.....hubby asked if his accent was local! He still speaks very English! Sorry and all that, but we could have turned up at the last minute too, but we didnt, we chose to sit out in the heat!

Anyhow, Alan Davis won the tour, he is an Aussie who has competed in the tour since its start.
Well done Alan!
A good book and a good coffee, what more can anyone want? xx
