I don't mind our "green" bags, I actually find them easier then the paper bags.

I didn't lose a book! I thought I had put on of the books I am reading in my bag to take to town with me, but when I went to get it to read it wasn't in my bag. I called our doctor's office which was the only place it could be but it wasn't there. When I got home I went straight to my room and it was still where I had put it the night before. I don't know what the says about my memory but at least I didn't lose the book, esp. since it's a BF book!

I also got my new good pair of tweezers from Walgreen's in the mail today, I hope it's as good as it claims to be!

They are okay. It's just a case of remembering to take them into the shop. We don't have paper bags here. Most of ours are plastic.

At first we kept forgetting them, but now we are pretty good about remembering, I think I forgot them once in many months.

Finding that BF carries a book about Duran Duran! My favourite band since I was 11, so for 24 years and counting.

My all-region DVD player came today, and I got it set up! Now I just need the DVD I bought from Amazon UK (the 1970's TV version of Our Mutual Friend, which I've been hoping for years would be released on video) to come so I can try it out.

Edited: It came today, so I can start watching it tonight! And I got an Amazon gift certificate from my boss today (I'll make very short work of it). How cool is that?

We bought two solid cherry stained bookshelves yesterday. They are five feet wide and six and a half foot tall with two locked drawers on the bottom of each. The centers of the shelves are glass and it has resessed lighting, very classy looking, and they have these beautiful woodwork on them. It was an amazing deal, regularly $1599 each we only paid $542 after tax, we only bought one then I just had to have a second so...now I need more books to fill the shelves.

That shouldn't be a problem should it?
