I’m now reading The Farm at the Edge of the World by Sarah Vaughan. It’s a dual timeframe story set in the present day and during WWII in Cornwall.

I just started The Abbot's Tale by Conn Iggulden.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

- Preferred HF: I like a series the best - more to look forward to after one book ends. Masters of Rome, The Century Trilogy, & the Outlander series are some of my favorites.

Not historical fiction, but just finished The Fox by one of my favorite authors, Frederick Forsyth. Highly recommend it, along with his other books - especially The Day of the Jackal.

I’ve just started Blood on the Stone by Jake Lynch, an historical thriller set during the reign of Charles II involving the ‘Popish Plot’. It’s a Pigeonhole read.
