That's good to hear, the 6th series has just finished here and was excellent, as ever. Very classy (although Shaun Evans has a hideous moustache!).

It has been suggested that this might be the last or at least penultimate series of Endeavour

One of my fave moments in the season 6 finale (broadcasting here in the US last night) was seeing Reginald Bright, Fred Thursday, and Jim Strange standing behind Morse at a quarry. Thursday declares, "We're City men, first and last."

That final stand-off could almost have been in a western couldn't it? I did fear that Fred would get killed off though!
