Magic and spirituality of the British Isles
Probably the best novel I've read in years, and I'm really hard to please. I just have to share about this debut novel from author FT Morgan. The Last Will and Testament of the Pirate John Blackjohn is in fact a romance centered on strong, three-dimensional female characters. Inspired by true events, John Blackjohn draws on Irish and Scandinavian folklore in a symbolist retelling of the archetypal Hero's Journey (plus pirates!) Meticulously researched and beautifully written, it's a must read for British Isles historical fiction fans. Find a Kindle or hardcopy here http://a.co/d/huGiKQP.
