"Downton Abbey" movie

Post by princess garnet » Fri July 13th, 2018, 4:08 pm

If you haven't seen the news yet, a "Downton Abbey" movie has been confirmed and production is forthcoming:

The lead video featuring Michelle Dockery is from 2017 and is mentioned at the end. And the cast photo is from the season 2 Christmas special. Um, they should've used one from the final season.

The Countess of Carnarvon has a new book coming this fall. It's titled Christmas at Highclere:

The possibility of a sequel to the upcoming movie:

Sounds great, however, I don't want too many movies. The "Sex & the City" franchise had 2 movies after the TV series ended on HBO both didn't do too well at the box office.

Went to see this on Saturday, I enjoyed it, and yes there would definitely be room for a sequel.
