Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled

Happy New Year! I am chewing through a bookgroup read, a contemporary, The Language of Flowers. At 25%, it's not bad. The situation--California foster care--is depressingly realistic, the author having personal experience of it. I'm still waiting for the shoe to drop.

Justinian's Flea, about the 542 bubonic plague pandemic.
