I had noticed that as well. It's oddly placed and very distracting.

@LadyB, it does look like the same pendant, but the smile on the O'Brien cover isn't quite the same.

*ponders*
It's definitely not the same lady, and the pendant is a different colour, but on The Pendant it's obviously just a home photoshop job, so I wonder if The Uncrowned Queen was used as a model to copy from (badly).

The image of the lady at the gate always makes me think of suffragettes chained to railings for some reason. She looks like she's passionate about something.

I don't care for the lady in the gate, at all.

There are similarities between the two pendant ladies, but I don't know which is more photoshopped. I think the O'Brien book is one of her more recent ones? I gave up on her books after the gawd-awful one on Eleanor.

Yes, I think so. Can I hire him for sword lessons? ;)

He must be pretty cold in the second photo. Doesn't seem bothered though.

Also what is with the backwards letters in the author's name?!

Elizabeth, sure, if the hair (wig) colour was changed. But Mary QoS? Nope.

I'm thinking it's because the S's in symmetry like that create a heart? No excuse, it's cheese-tastic and the design is distracting.
