Finished my first week on the new job yesterday (and almost a week of vacation just before that). Feeling terribly fortunate and very much enjoying the people and learning a bit. I've even already proven a tiny bit useful once already! GO ME! :)

*Psst* Don't tell anyone, but ...

The Query Shark herself, Janet Reid, requested my full last night. :p

The best thing today is IT'S RAINING! We have had only one rainstorm since last April, and the local hills, which are usually knee-deep in grass and weeds this time of year, have been sere and brown-- like a cold August. I feel like singin' in the rain!

Opposite here, MLE - it hasn't rained for a full 24 hours, yay!

We're getting another 5-8 inches of snow today. Luckily we're used to it, so it seldom causes problems. I'll take the cat to the vet (one block away) today and head into the city tomorrow for PT on our trusty subway. Love public transportation!
