The Forest House by Marion Z. Bradley
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

The Ghost Bride by Yang Sze Choo (Amazon Vine). I'm loving it - an excellent read, although as a publisher I might have laid it out differently to appeal to the reading demographic. Set out on the page it looks like a lot of heavy reading. It isn't, but if you're flicking in a shop and are more accustomed to seeing the work set out in short paragraphs, you might baulk.

Such a long book might be a mistake since school is beginning, but I was browsing the ebooks from the libraries in Central New Jersey and being prominently promoted was Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor. I've never read it and now I am!

One of my absolute favorites and yes, it is quite bulky but oh so good!

Still reading Stormbird by Conn Iggulden. I'm enjoying it but some of the battle scenes are a little drawn out for me.

Finished "The English Monster" by Lloyd Shepherd yesterday for our book group last night (very mixed feelings).

Just started a non-fiction book for a different book group this coming weekend: "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking" by Susan Cain.

I'm pretty much in research mode for two projects I am working on, one fiction and one non-fiction.

For the fiction book I am reading Royal Web along with several publications of Queen Victoria's and Empress Frederick's letters.

For the non-ficton book, I am reading Royal Whore about Barbara Villiers, Countess of Castlemaine.
