SM- Who is The Boleyn King about? And is that fiction?
Nefret: it's alternative fiction. It's a what if Anne Boleyn actually had a son and he became king on Henry's death. It's part 1 of a 3 part trilogy.

Oh, that does sound interesting. *adds to the TBR list*
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
- "Into Battle"

Agree with Nefret! I have been avoiding Tudor HF unless the subject is a minor player, but with this one I will have no idea of what will happen.

I read this a couple of weeks ago. It really was well done, the author put a lot of thought into how people's lives would have been changed if Anne's son had lived. Not serious literature, but still a fun read. Quite an interesting twist at the end, but I'll have to wait (im)patiently for the next book in November.

BTW, if you ever get your library card back, King County does have this available as an ebook. Zap it to your kindle in minutes.

That's how I read it :) They actually reduced my fine and I paid it months ago :) . Anything with K L behind a book title I've read means from library on Kindle.

Glad you got it fixed. The digital catalog at KCLS is all kinds of awesomeness. I check for new titles all the time and just add them to the wish list at Overdrive for when nothing in the piles at home interest me. I just love getting a library book at 5AM on a weekend without even having to leave my couch.

Actually I wish they had more history books on Europe. I suggest books now and then, some have been added, some not.

I get books for Harm to listen to on her Kindle Fire HD, not Audible bit the text to speech option, she prefers that.

You do know that you can have any dead tree book in the catalog sent to your local branch for pick up, right?

I just started The Moneyman by Thomas Costain yesterday. Gorgeous artwork on the inside flaps, but I could only scan the back one (too many library tags on the front flap.

What is that and how do you do it? Maybe we should move this conversation to PM?
