June's awhile off. I hope to be there this year, but don't bet on it. Depends on a lot of things. Is it on a weekend? And where is it this year?

I wish I could go but ALA Annual is during the last weekend of June! (It's in Chicago this year)

I'm doing both HNS and ALA this year. It'll be crazy since they're so close together, but ALA is within driving distance for me.

I haven't seen a deadline listed for HNS.

Conference was absolutely fabulous.

I've been back from Florida for just over a week and I have to say I am still ruminating on the good times at the HNS Conference in St. Pete's, FL.

This was my first time going to this particular conference, but I have been sever other literary cons in the Rocky Mountain region. This was, by far, the best organized one I have been to. The conference staff, volunteers and hotel personnel were all tops.

I was so impressed, I am working on putting together a bid for the 2015 conference to be in Denver.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

Go for it, Daniel. I love Denver. I can hike the Rockies before or after!

I agree, the conference was excellent this year: great speakers, panels and location. The committee that put this together deserves kudos!

Had a great time too. Met new people, saw others from a previous conference. Great hotel too.

Never been to Denver, so I'd vote for it.
