Having Hand Surgery on the 15th

Post by SonjaMarie » Wed April 3rd, 2013, 2:36 am

On April 15 I'm having a non cancerous glomus tumour removed from beneath my right index fingernail. I've had this for many years never knowing why small bumps to my finger nail would call excruciating pain until I went to a hand doctor a few weeks ago and had a MRI a week later to confirmed his diagnosis of the tumour. I won't describe what they will do to remove it, unless the less squeamish want to PM and ask.

I'll be at my godmother's for possible 2 weeks until the dressing comes off and since I'll be pretty much one handed I doubt I'll be able to be online that much unless I can figure out voice to text program on my ipod. But If I'm not on, just wanted people to know why :)

Good luck! I hope you have a quick recovery.

Thank goodness for e-readers, at least you can still read one-handed :)
