Sounds like fantasy to me, pure and simple!

I guess the better question would've been why she was posting it :)

I think it could be classed as historical fantasy. It's a retelling, isn't it? I like retellings. I have the author's 'Mermaid' on my TBR pile.

Yes, please do Tanzanite, it's one of my favourite parts of HFO!

Last time somebody said that, we ended up dancing around a table with pints, and singing Hobbit drinking songs.

Anyway... please continue. I need this to make my TBR lists. :)

oops - it seems in my brevity (typing on my phone and that damn auto correct is annoying so I tend to keep it short!) I left the wrong impression. I only meant that I wouldn't include stuff like the one in question in the future. I'll admit it was a little out there but I thought a few members at least had mentioned they like those fairy tale re-telling stories and I've included a few that I've run across over the last few years so thought I would include this one. Plus, I gotta admit - I love the cover!!

So, no worries. Apologies for any confusion. :o

;) :)

Trying to type on those phones can sure make comments briefer, can't they? Thankfully I don't have auto correct, but I've had some nasty typos pop up.
