Gone with the Wind , it was on telly.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled

I went to see Skyfall with my daughter last night (that's twice she's seen it now!). I enjoyed it very much - can't say too much as it would be easy to give something away! It's well worth watching and Daniel Craig isn't bad either! :D

A Royal Affair Danish movie about Christian VII of Denmark, Queen Caroline Matilda and the royal physician Johann Friedrich Struensee who had an affair with the Queen. Very very good movie. **hugs the box of kleenex**

I am getting mixed reviews here on Skyfall...But it has to be better than QoS which I wasn't able to sit through!! So I'll get Skyfall when it's released here on DVD.

A Royal Affair has received rave reviews. I want to see that one.

Went to see The Hobbit yesterday afternoon and absolutely loved it. For me it was up there with Lord of the Rings film 1.
I loved the diversity of the characters, the humour, the bits of filled in back story. Richard Armitage makes a magnificent Thorin Oakenshield. Radegast the Brown and his rabbit sleigh was an utter joy. The fight scenes were slightly repetitive, but taking into the account the overall big picture, they were no more long-winded (in fact less winded) than in The Two Towers or Return of the King. I loved the beginning and didn't find it drawn out at all and the Gollum scene was fabulous. I went with my best friend who said to me afterwards that for her it had been better than the LOTR films.
So, we're bucking the trend and loving it. Bring on the next film - preferably now!

I'm going to see The Hobbit again over the weekend. (With my Dwarf chart. I had a hard time remembering which name went to which Dwarf, except my three faves.) I want the sword Orcist (I have an odd fondness of weapons). I agree about Richard Armitage, watching Thorin makes me swoon. (It's the voice, the coat, and seeing him fight.)

Anyway, I do really want to see the next movie with Smaug, and Laketown.

"Anna Karenina" - enjoyed the in-cinemas-now version, and followed it up with a look at Vivien Leigh's performance.

Hitchcock. Not a bad movie at all, a tale of how Psycho was made (lots I didn't know about - like how they pulled all of the books from bookstores so no one would know the twist, and how they managed to do publicity with absolutely no money from studio.) Hopkins and Mirren are fabulous, of course.
