I watched "the Black Adder" series..1st set....What delightful hoot to see the early ones again...Brilliant and witty ....I love Netflix.....so reasonable and accommodating for a film lover....
Black Adder! I love Rowan Atkinson! Haven't watched any of those old shows in a long time! Are any of you into Red Dwarf? I used to work for a British Dentist who introduced me to British commedy sitcoms, nothing better! :D

I LOVED "Red Dwarf", PBS was famous for airing RD marathons and having the stars on the commercial breaks. I liked the earlier seasons more then the last few ones.

Yes I like Blackadder and Red Dwarf!

My parents have always been more into the British comedy, so I grew up with things like Porridge, Love Thy Neighbour, George and Mildred, The Two Ronnies, Benny Hill...... et al.

I wish Blackadder could be the antagonist vs. Dr. Who.

Rown Atkinson has played the Doctor in an affectionate parody.

Missed that one. I wonder if it was ever shown here in the States. Also, the schedulings vary depending upon the community. The latest Masteriece Contemporary we saw ended last night, The Last Enemy. Earlier this year the Winter Haven PBS station showed some Lord Lynley mysteries we had seen several years ago in Jupiter, Fl.
