What Movies Have You Seen Lately?
I still have the final two eps available on Netflix to go, but have largely enjoyed it. There are some pretty clanging issues with the translation to modern London (the episode featuring Exotic Asians was pretty squirmily 19th-century in its presentation, and there are some fairly insane requirements put on the Willing Suspension of Disbelief), but I like the characters a great deal.
rebecca, when you get to see it, let me know what you think!
Will do Diane but it may take a while...Hopefully I will be moving soon.
I watched Snow White and the Huntsman lastnight...2/5 watchable but I find Kristen Stewart's 'acting' snooze worthy!
Still working through Vampire Diaries and still getting over a nasty, vicious horrid, filthy....COLD!....And yes I'm a SOOK when it comes to colds and flu's

No I didn't Nefret. I don't know why but the movie didn't appeal to me. But I might hire out 'Once Upon a Time' and see how I like that one.
I also watched the first two episodes of 'Downtown Abbey S 3,' and though I hate to say it, I thought Shirley Maclaine's appearances a bit boring, perhaps I expected too much. I will watch another couple of episodes tonight.
Bec PS: Is Skyfall better than Quantum? I remember turning that one off!

Shirley MacLaine is barely in Downton, so don't worry, she goes home soon! And it does get better, but get the hankies ready

Saturday night, I watched "Dinner at Eight" and came away sort of amazed I'd never seen it before. Very interesting and emotionally layered, and I generally enjoy Barrymore's turns.
Tonight, watching "What Price Hollywood" circa 1932. So far so good, but not yet 15 minutes in!
