The Summer Garden by Paullina Simon. Was going to take a break before I finished the trilogy, but decided to go ahead with it.

The Rich are Different by Susan Howatch. I do love what she does with her first person narratives, plus the parallel twist to another period.

Merivel by Rose Tremain. Love it - both Tremain and Merivel have matured very nicely in the 20-odd years since Restoration first hit the bookshelves.

I loved that book! I think Sins of the Fathers is a sequel.

I've just started The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters.

I just started Druid Sacrifice by Nigel Tranter. Despite being Scottish, this is my first Tranter novel  Going by the reviews, it might not be the best one to start with, but I found it for £1 in a charity shop, so can't complain!

I started this but couldn't finish. I would recommend Lion Let Loose - it's about James I of Scotland. The first of Tranter's I read and by far my favourite :)
