Interest in HF: The first historical novel I read was Katherine by Anya Seton and this sparked off my interest in this genre.
Favourite HF book: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!

They do look similar - her hair could've just been coloured differently.

I think it's the same guy, but different girl, hard to tell. Perhaps he had a procession of lovelies to pose with!

I think it's definitely the same guy, they just brushed in some stripes and brushed out a button or two. I think it's the same gal with slightly different pose, different hair color.

Yeah, looks like it. What time periods are those supposed to be set in?

I kinda like the third cover.

The JB book is Antebellum south. Always is post Civil War. Not sure about the first book.
