Want to meet biblionuts like myself

Post by regsmith » Mon August 13th, 2012, 8:00 pm

I found this site by accident and am so happy to be a part of it.
I am an avid reader since age 5 with no looking back. My internet name is regsmith and I live in Canada.
Over the years my genre interests have changed but included mysteries (tame to today's), horror (ditto), family sagas, English Victorian and 1900 sagas, historical romance, and general fiction. Right now I am trying to diversify and revisit old favourite authors.
I just finished 'Sons of Fortune' by Jeffrey Archer while on vacation (still am on vacation) and I would say it is the fastest I have ever read (500 pages) a book in years. I just couldn't put it down!! It was amazing.
While on vacation, I have visited at least three used bookstores and walked away with two different trilogies by Anita Burgh, among other books too many to mention!
I also like spiritual type books that have wise sayings and uplifting messages.

So here's my introduction and I hope to participate and read many threads over the next few weeks to get acquainted with some.

Anyone who wishes to comment on any of the above...I welcome comments.

Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Welcome, Regsmith! I hope you enjoy it here. It's a long time since I've read a Jeffrey Archer book, but do have the first of his new Clifton Chronicles on my TBR pile, Only Time Will Tell. I remember loving Kane & Abel many moons ago.
