Northanger Abbey (BBC, circa 1987)
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Salmon Fishing in Yemen, With Ewan Macgregor, Emily Blunt, and Kirsten Thomas. There are holes you could drive a truck through, but with those actors and a decent script, it ends up being quite enjoyable to watch!

It was alright. I should point out that I have not read the book.

Age of heroes. An interesting premise that fell apart in execution. One doesn't even know what happened to the main character in the end (Sean Bean).

I think the director was trying to be different or something, besides hiking up the dramatics where there was no need for it, as in his treatment of the ex-convict soldier. I see this again and again: good acting, good photography, good sound - and a storytelling technique (or just a story) that sucketh mightily. :(

I think Fellowship is probably my favourite of the LOTR films. I read yesterday that PJ is thinking of making The Hobbit into a trilogy? I'm already wondering how they'll manage to stretch it over 2 films, as it's not a whopping great book as it is.

The Hobbit doesn't really need to be two movies. Why then three movies?

Yes my point exactly. It's not that much of a story either from what I remember, although it's ages since I read it.

It's not a long book.
