Yep, hopefully this will help stop the increasing prices of ebooks.

Kindle Fire - oh, the free stuff!
I've been reading my current book mostly on my Kindle Fire and a bit on my regular Kindle. A major difference is that the Kindle Fire must be recharged a lot more often than the regular Kindle. I guess the back-light must account for some of that.

I love the Kindle Fire Santa brought me. Best use so far - downloading audio books to listen to while doing chores! Now I can "read" even more . . .

I recently sold my color Nook and my iPod touch to upgrade to an iPad. I absolutely love reading books on it. I love that the screen is bigger than the color Nook. I've read both Nook books and Kindle books on it through the apps, and I like the Kindle reading experience better - mostly because the dictionary is so much better. (I love getting the derivations of words, the Nook dictionary didn't do that as well).
My husband, a technophobe, was given the Kindle Fire for Christmas. He is amazed at how much easier he finds reading while using it over a regular book. It would usually take him a month to finish a book. He's now on his 4th book since Christmas. The Kindle is actually competing with the computer for his time, now.
My iPad feels like a Tardis (is that right?) - much bigger on the inside than on the out. I feel like I could have every book I desire on it, and my music, the net and games, too. I only have the 16GB. I feel like I'm in heaven.

Once the bills are paid for May, I'm going to get me a Kindle Fire. I'd prefer an Ipad but that's a bit more then I can afford right now, maybe in the future, now that we're paying less rent!
