It seems like Amazon is already everywhere.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Bump thread.

I'm a bit curious after some US friends mentioned yesterday that BD shows EC's The Summer Queen as out of stock, yetAmazon UK shows it as in stock. I just looked at the book's listing at Amazon.com and am really scratching my head, as one of the sellers listing the book are...you guessed it...the Book Depository. "In Stock" they say.

How does this happen?

I'm rather tempted to write to my state's AG. Amazon is a WA based company and they do own BD, don't they?

Summer Queen comes up as being for sale on BD for me, Misfit, and at a discounted price, though I've already got a Kindle copy. BD's stock varies a lot - it's often better to pre-order from them as they often run out of new titles quite quickly. Always pays to check both BD.com and BD.co.uk - sometimes stuff is available and/or cheaper at one or the other.

But you can buy it from BD through Amazon.com. can you see it there? Perhaps that's where they want the US sales to be made? Curious, since Annie says she sees it as available.

Edit. I clicked on the link annis provided. Says unavailable.

Yes, I can see the BD link on amazon.com, but I won't buy it from there. It makes me think BD does not want to pay the free shipping to the US from its website. It's selling for £10.53 on amazon.co.uk and that's $16.20. The BD link's price is $18.46 plus $3.99 shipping. It just makes me think that there is something fishy going on. It's not like I don't have anything to read...says she with a ton of books on the Kindle and a bookcase full of books to be read. Yesterday I did click on the link on the BD site asking to be emailed when the book becomes available. Wonder how long that will take?

And unavailable for me. Very odd. I think I'll screen cap it on my end. Can you do the same and attach it here?
